Robert Prevost, 63, was reported missing in March 2025. His body was found in the Ottawa River near Dallaire Street in the community of Clarence-Rockland on May 17, 2025, and police ruled his death a homicide. Police had charged five individuals in connection with their investigation into Prevost’s death before announcing on Tuesday that they had issued a warrant for a sixth, Cathy Percey, a 53-year-old from Ottawa, who was wanted for first-degree murder. According to police, Percey has been charged with first degree murder. She remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal in October.
