Tickets are now on sale for the Panda Game at TD Place. The Carleton Ravens and the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees will meet in the annual football rivalry game on Sunday, Oct. 4. Last year, the Ravens beat the Gee-Gees 20-14 at TD Place, snapping uOttawa’s six game winning streak. It will be the fourth straight year the Panda Game will be played on a Sunday following post-game incidents in 2021 and 2022. In 2021, thousands of students gathered on the streets in Sandy Hill, with a group of people flipping a car onto its roof. In 2022, seven people were arrested and dozens of tickets were issued after a street party in Sandy Hill following the football game. Tickets are now on sale at Tickmaster.ca for the game. TD Place says Carleton Ravens fans should purchase tickets for the south side of TD Place, while University of Ottawa fans should purchase tickets in the north side stands. “As per TD Place’s Panda policies, there are no bags or umbrellas allowed, no re-entry, zero tolerance for intoxication or harmful behaviour and one drink per purchase per person,” TD Place said. The University of Ottawa Gee-Gees are 3 and 0 to start the season, while the Ravens are winless in three games this season.
