An international conference on cybersecurity will be held in Ottawa-Gatineau in December, bringing approximately 2,600 visitors to the national capital region. Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe and Gatineau Mayor Maude Marquis-Bissonnette will hold a media conference today to announce the INCYBER Forum Canada conference on cybersecurity will be held in Ottawa-Gatineau later this year. The mayors will be joined by Daniel Blanc, the director general of the INCYBER Forum Canada. The INCYBER Forum website says the Pan-Canadian and International Conference on Cybersecurity will be held in Ottawa-Gatineau from Dec. 1 to Dec. 3. It will include 120 exhibitors and 280 speakers. “A high-level meeting uniting Canadian and international cybersecurity leaders from defence, law enforcement and the public sector,” INCYBER says on its website about the National Cyber Resilience Summit. “The goal: focus on forging a collective, secure future to ensure national digital serenity and build lasting trust in the age of AI and global threats.” According to its website, the INCYBER Forum is organized by Forward Global, an “international company specializing in risk management.” “This major event will unite cybersecurity ecosystems to build a safer digital world. For businesses, citizens, and future generations, INCYBER is dedicated to fostering a secure digital environment,” says the website.
