Ontario Provincial Police in Ottawa are looking for the driver of a truck after a backhoe being hauled hit a bridge on Highway 417. The incident happened at around 6:40 a.m. Monday in the eastbound lanes at Eagleson Road, Const. Michael Fathi said in a post on X. Police shared a photo of the suspect vehicle. The driver is asked to contact police. Anyone who might have witnessed the crash or who has dashcam footage of the incident is also asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 and reference case number E261149368.
