The Goo Goo Dolls have cancelled this week’s Ottawa show at the Canadian Tire Centre. The band said on social media Sunday that it would be calling off the rest of its Canadian tour after frontman John Rzeznik was diagnosed with pneumonia and had not yet recovered. “We are very disappointed and can’t wait to get back to Canada as soon as possible,” the band said. The Canadian Tire Centre confirmed the cancellation and said ticket refunds will be automatically issued. The band was set to take the stage in Ottawa at 6:30 p.m. Monday. “We wish John a speedy recovery,” the CTC said. The band also recently cancelled three of its Ontario shows because of illness.
