Carleton Place, Ont. man dies in motorcycle crash in Lanark Highlands

Ontario Provincial Police say a 66-year-old Carleton Place man has died in a motorcycle crash in the Lanark Highlands.

Officers were called to a section of Pine Grove Road between Concession Road 8A and Giles Road at around 4 p.m. Thursday, where the man and his motorcycle were found.

Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The OPP says the investigation remains ongoing.
