A collision involving a train and a pedestrian drew a large emergency response to the area of Couchie Memorial Drive and Main Street West in North Bay on Wednesday morning. Police, fire crews and paramedics were dispatched to the scene at about 11 a.m. on Aug. 5. Two transported to hospital One individual suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital, while a second person was taken to hospital for precautionary medical care. No further details released Authorities have declined to provide additional information about the incident or the identities of those affected. “To protect the privacy of those involved, no further information will be released,” the North Bay Police Service wrote in a news release Wednesday afternoon. The North Bay Police Service is leading the investigation.
