Thunder Bay police investigating homicide in city’s south end

The Thunder Bay Police Service is investigating a homicide after a man was found dead on the city’s south end early this month.

Officers were dispatched to the Hall Place area on the evening of March 1.

“A deceased male was located,” police said in a news release.

The identity of the victim has not been released.

The force’s major crime unit has since taken over the investigation.

Police seek info, video footage

Investigators are asking anyone with security or dashcam video from a specific area and time frame to come forward.

Detectives are looking for footage captured between Feb. 22 and March 1 along Walsh Street East, between Edward Street South and Tarbutt Street South.
