A man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after an assault in the Highlands area on Friday. The Edmonton Police Service was called to a report of an assault in the area of 69 Street and 118 Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Police say he entered a nearby hotel looking for help after being assaulted. EPS did not say how the man was injured or if anyone had been arrested. The assault is under investigation.
