Thunder Bay police say an officer spotted a driver going 89 km/h in a 40 km/h school zone on Wednesday. The officer was driving in the Rosslyn Road area around 2:30 p.m. when they located a vehicle travelling 89 km/h in a 40 km/h school zone, police said in a news release. The driver was stopped and charged with speeding and stunt driving. In addition to the charges, the motorist had their driver’s licence suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
