Montreal Victoire to face Toronto Sceptres at the Bell Centre in December

The Montreal Victoire will host the Toronto Sceptres at the Bell Centre as part of the third edition of the “Duel at the Top” on Dec. 27.

This will be the Montreal team’s third game at the Canadiens’ home arena.

During their first game at the Bell Centre, the Victoire set a world record for a professional women’s hockey game, with 21,105 spectators filling the stands for a face-off against Toronto.

Last winter, fans saw Laura Stacey score in overtime to give Victoire the win over the Boston Fleet in their second game at the Bell Centre.

“Every special moment we’ve had since the league was created is thanks first and foremost to our fans,” said Stacey. “Playing in front of our extended Victoire family, in the loudest arena I’ve ever had the chance to play in, and at such a special time of year, is going to be amazing once again.”

“The game at the Bell Centre illustrates our desire to create unique moments for our fans,” added Kim St-Pierre, director of commercial operations for Victoire. “We are happy to offer them this opportunity to get together and cheer on their team during the holiday season.”
