Sûreté du Québec (SQ) officers responded on Sunday to a possible drowning in Saint-Nazaire-de-Dorchester, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. A 70-year-old man reportedly fell into a private lake near 6e Rang East at 1:30 p.m. He was mowing his lawn and is believed to have fallen into the lake with his lawn mower. He was pulled from the water unconscious by firefighters and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The SQ is investigating the incident.
