A man is in critical condition after a collision between a snow plow and his pick-up truck early Sunday in Saint-Remi, Que. Local police were called to de l’Église Street, in the Montérégie, around 3 a.m. Provincial police say the snowplow was cleaning a private driveway and collided with the pick-up truck while leaving. The driver of truck, a man in his 30s, was transported to hospital and remains in critical condition. The driver of the snow plow was not injured. De l’Église Street was closed to traffic until 6 a.m. but has since reopened. While road conditions were poor at the time of the accident, with heavy blowing snow in southern Quebec overnight, no hypothesis into the cause of the crash is ruled out, police said.
