Police identify murder victim found in St. Eustache

Police have identified the man whose body was found in a plastic bag in St. Eustache on Monday.

The Sureté du Quebec said he was Pascal Ricard, 45, and that he had been murdered.

Ricard was a resident of Saint Sophie, a town in the Laurentians about 50 km by car from St. Eustache.

He was last seen on March 25, 2015, and was reported missing one week later.

His vehicle, a red Subaru Impreza, was found April 3, 2015 in a St. Eustache parking lot.
