A snowfall warning is in effect for the Montreal area with Environment Canada expecting about 15 centimetres of snow Saturday. The alert says Montreal, Laval and the Vaudreuil area could see three to four centimetres of snow falling per hour in the evening. The snow could turn to light rain early Sunday morning, creating icy conditions. Environment Canada warns that “travel will likely be challenging” as visibility will be reduced at times.
