Montreal Alouettes sign two players, including Terrell Owens’ son

The Montreal Alouettes announced a two-year deal with American wide receiver Terique Owens, son of former NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens.

The team also reached an agreement with wide receiver and kick returner Phillip Brooks.

Owens, six feet three inches tall and weighing 200 pounds, spent time on the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad.

The 26-year-old football player caught a touchdown pass in the Niners’ last preseason game.

Brooks was named to the Big 12 first-team All-Conference in 2020 and second-team in 2022. The five-foot-eight, 171-pound athlete spent time with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and British Columbia Lions last season, playing in three games.
