Man in critical condition after being crushed at Montreal workplace

A worker was crushed while handling materials at his workplace in eastern Montreal Saturday morning.

Police said the worker was sent to hospital in critical condition.

The Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) was called to the cabinetry workshop on Maurice-Duplessis Boulevard after the accident.

Its investigators are looking into the causes and circumstances of the accident.
