Here are the weekend road closures in and around Montreal

Montreal drivers should be aware that multiple construction projects in and around the island will result in traffic headaches and road closures.

Commuters are advised to plan routes before leaving.

• LISTEN to CJAD 800 Radio for traffic updates every 15 minutes

Honoré Mercier Bridge (Route-138)

• From Friday at 11 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., one lane will be open in each direction across the bridge.

Saint-Jean-Baptiste Boulevard (Route-138)

• Expect heavy traffic travelling through Chateauguay on Saint-Jean-Baptiste Boulevard (R-138) due to several road closures.

Bonaventure Highway (A-10)

• From Friday at 11 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., the Bonaventure Highway (A-10) West junction (Bonaventure / downtown) will be closed at the end of the Samuel De Champlain Bridge, at exit 58 (A-10 west, downtown, Île des Sœurs).
• From Friday at 11 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., the Bonaventure east will be closed between exit 4 (A-15, A-20) and the Samuel De Champlain Bridge.

De La Cité-Des-Jeunes Boulevard (R-340)

• In Vaudreuil-Dorion, from Friday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., De la Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard (R-340) will be closed in both directions between De la Gare Boulevard and Jeannotte Street.

Highway 25

• From Friday at 11 p.m. to Saturday at 8 a.m., Highway 25 north will be closed between exit 5 (R-138, Sherbrooke Street, Yves-Prévost Boulevard) and the Yves-Prévost Boulevard access.

Papineau Bridge (A-19)

• In Laval, from Friday at 9:30 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., access from Saint-Martin Boulevard East will be closed on Highway 19 south.

Melocheville Boulevard (R-132)

• In Beauharnois, from Friday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 6 a.m., Melocheville Boulevard (R-132) will be closed in both directions, between Principale Street (upstream from the Melocheville tunnel) and Route 236 (Boul. de l’Energie).

Taschereau Boulevard (R-134)

• In Longueuil, from Friday at midnight to Saturday at 7 a.m.; from Saturday at midnight to Sunday at 7 a.m. and from Sunday at 11:30 p.m. to Monday at 4:30 a.m., two of three lanes will be closed on Taschereau Boulevard westbound (R-134 west), between the exit for the Longueuil / Université de Sherbrooke metro station and the access to the Jacques-Cartier Bridge.

Côte-de-Liesse Road

• From Friday at 10 p.m. to Saturday at 10 a.m., Côte-de-Liesse Road West will be closed between Gagnon Street and Montpellier Boulevard, above the railroad tracks.

Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40)

• Until Sunday, Nov. 2, at 5 a.m., at exit 41 of Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40) east (Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants), the Anciens-Combattants Boulevard southbound access is closed.
