Dr. Catherine Sabiston is an Associate Professor of Exercise and Health Psychology in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education at McGill University. She is the Director of the Health Behaviour and Emotion Lab, where she leads research focused on factors related to physical activity motivation and studies the mental, physical, and social health outcomes associated with lifestyle behaviours including physical activity, diet, and smoking. Her recent work has been focused on better understanding how physical activity improves mental health among recently treated breast cancer survivors, and exploring what type of physical activity is best for changes in both body fat/weight and emotional well-being. Dr. Sabiston's research has been published in high-impact journals and books, and she has given numerous International talks. Her work is funded by Provincial and National health agencies, and in 2010, she was identified as one of 5 top young researchers in Quebec. Do you have a question for Dr. Sabiston or her team?
