Céline Dion adds 6 dates to Paris shows

Superstar Céline Dion is adding six dates to her Paris concerts.

She announced her return to the stage on her birthday, March 30, after a lengthy break due to Stiff Person Syndrome, an incurable autoimmune disorder.

In a video posted to social media, the 58-year-old called her comeback “the best gift.”

“This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life. I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again,” she said. “I want to let you know that I’m doing great, managing my health, feeling good.”

In addition to her 10 original dates, Dion’s team confirmed that the singer is also planning shows at the Paris La Défense Arena on:

• Friday, Sept. 18
• Friday, Sept. 25
• Friday, Oct. 2
• Friday, Oct. 9
• Friday, Oct. 16
• Saturday, Oct. 17

Dion has sold more than 260 million albums as part of a career spanning decades.

She has won five Grammys, including two for My Heart Will Go On, the hit song from the 1997 epic Titanic.
