A man in his 60s is dead after losing control of his ATV in Saint-Basile, in the Capitale-Nationale region, on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred at 4 p.m. on Rang Saint-Joseph, according to Béatrice Dorsainville, spokesperson with the Sûreté du Québec (SQ). The man, who was not wearing a helmet, was alone on the ATV when he lost control for reasons that remain unclear. He was pronounced dead at the hospital later that afternoon. A police officer specializing in collision investigations was on site to examine the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
