Three arrested after stolen vehicles spotted in west London neighbourhood

Three men are facing charges after police in London say that they recovered two stolen vehicles.

On Wednesday afternoon police received reports of two suspicious cars at a home in a west-end neighbourhood.

According to police, the first vehicle - a white Nissan van - was reported stolen on February 26, the second was a black Dodge Ram reported stolen on March 2.

The Ram was found to have a plate attached that was not registered to it, which had been stolen from a dealership sometime earlier in the week.

Witnesses told police that they saw the drivers enter a home in the area of Applewood Crescent and Eaton Park Drive.

Police searched the home on Wednesday evening, seized some brass knuckles, and arrested the three men inside.

A 46-year-old man from London faces charges of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon or prohibited device, and breach of probation.

A 39-year old man from Chesley was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and operation of a conveyance while prohibited.

A third 38-year-old man from London was arrested on outstanding warrants.

The investigation is ongoing.
