Three men are facing charges after police in London say that they recovered two stolen vehicles. On Wednesday afternoon police received reports of two suspicious cars at a home in a west-end neighbourhood. According to police, the first vehicle - a white Nissan van - was reported stolen on February 26, the second was a black Dodge Ram reported stolen on March 2. The Ram was found to have a plate attached that was not registered to it, which had been stolen from a dealership sometime earlier in the week. Witnesses told police that they saw the drivers enter a home in the area of Applewood Crescent and Eaton Park Drive. Police searched the home on Wednesday evening, seized some brass knuckles, and arrested the three men inside. A 46-year-old man from London faces charges of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon or prohibited device, and breach of probation. A 39-year old man from Chesley was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and operation of a conveyance while prohibited. A third 38-year-old man from London was arrested on outstanding warrants. The investigation is ongoing.
