A great start to the weekend is underway with plenty of sunshine, all thanks to a ridge of high pressure that’s dominating our forecast today into tomorrow. “Again, our temperatures right where they’re supposed to be. We’re expecting a high of 27 today. You could see that high pressure over the Great Lakes region. We are tracking the next weather maker and it should push through Sunday morning,” said Reta Ismail. “What that means for us is we will pick up a little bit of rainfall early Sunday and because the humidity will climb this weekend, there is a chance for some embedded thunderstorms storms as well,” Ismail went on to say, “Early Sunday morning is when most of that activity appears to be crossing over just before noon. And then we’ll break into a nice mix of sun and cloud Sunday afternoon.” As that system crosses, the humidity will start to build. Monday will be 29, feeling like 39. “And because of that instability, we could be dealing with some passing thunderstorms as well on Monday. But then the rest of the week appears to be beautiful mix of sun and cloud to mainly sunny conditions,” said Ismail.
