School board officials have reportedly returned to the bargaining table with school bus operators in Grey-Bruce, trying to avoid potential job action when the new school year gets underway. Parents were notified earlier this week there may be school bus disruptions in September, impacting close to 16,000 students. School bus company officials had issued a deadline for Friday to get a deal, otherwise putting September bus service in jeopardy. Provincial government officials say they’ve increased transportation funding in Grey-Bruce, with the expectation a deal can get done.
