Poutine Feast vendors set up in Victoria Park under rainy and cold weather Thursday afternoon. Despite the temps, many Londoners were still coming out for servings of the Canadian delicacy. Poutine Feast Master of Ceremonies Dave Conway stated, “I don’t think rain scares anybody away from Poutine Festival.” This year’s event runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. between Thursday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Vendors are dishing out many different varieties of poutine and the festival also includes different activities, including a scavenger hunt and an eating contest. Conway was excited to see both new and familiar faces coming out, saying that, “London is always one of our biggest, it’s one of our original nine cities.”
