Mild temperatures with peaks of sunshine

CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison brings you the latest weather forecast.

We’re seeing mild temperatures with peaks of sunshine across the region Monday, with temperatures expected to rise heading into Tuesday.

“We do have an area of low pressure well off to the south,” said Meteorologist Julie Atchison.

“This will drive some moisture into southern Ontario with some rain in the forecast for your Tuesday. We also have a big weather system that is going to bring a very cold air mass to the region as we push towards Wednesday and Thursday, with a risk of snow squalls developing in Midwestern Ontario.”

Atchison said daytime highs Tuesday could range between 8 C and 10 C, depending on where you’re located, which she said is well above normal for this time of year.

Monday: Mainly sunny. Wind south 30 km/h becoming light late this afternoon. High 10 C.

Monday night: Partly cloudy becoming cloudy this evening. Low 6 C.

Tuesday: Cloudy with showers beginning in the early morning. High 10 C.

Tuesday night: Cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers. Low 9 C.

Wednesday: Cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers. Windy, high 9 C.

Wednesday night: Cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of flurries. Windy, Low -2 C.
