The score was reflective of the teams’ respective positions in the OHL standings, with the Knights in a battle for home ice advantage in the first round, and the Otters sitting outside the playoff picture. London scored five unanswered goals by the middle of the second period before Erie managed to get one back. The offensive explosion included Ryan Brown’s 21st goal of the season, the most among all Knights skaters. There are just six regular season games left on the schedule for London.
