Knights beat Attack, clinch playoff spot

After a solid defensive performance, the Knights came out on top with a 6-2 victory over the Attack.

The London Knights cruised to a 6-2 matinee victory over the Owen Sound Attack Monday, clinching a spot in the OHL playoffs.

Knights winger, Cohen Bidgood, was named first star of the game, scoring two goals and adding a pair of assists.

London came in with a healthy points cushion on Owen Sound in the standings, as the Attack sit on the playoff bubble heading into the regular season’s home stretch.

The Knights are in the middle of the playoff pack, currently eighth in the overall table.

Their next game is Friday night at Canada Life Place, when they host the Barrie Colts, who own the third best record in the league.
