Kincardine residents are being asked to conserve water this week, during scheduled maintenance on the town’s raw water intake line. A chlorination line is being replaced to help prevent zebra mussel build up in the intake system, says the municipality. The work is happening until Aug. 1, from 7 a.m. to 5p.m. each day. That’s when residents are being asked to curb their water usage. Doing laundry at night, and limiting lawn watering this week are just two ways residents are being encouraged to help out.
