Fatal crash on Highbury Ave. claims lives of St. Thomas and Georgian Bluffs residents

A collision on Highbury Avenue north of London has claimed the lives to two people.

According to police, the collision which took place at 7:40 p.m. saw two vehicles collide head on, on Highbury Ave. between Thirteen and Fourteen Mile Roads in Middlesex Centre.

The drivers and lone occupants of both vehicles involved were transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police say that a 75-year-old from St. Thomas and a 28-year-old from Georgian Bluffs were pronounced dead at the hospital.
