‘Feeling like spring’ as a weather system moves into the region

Julie Atchison has the latest forecast for southwestern Ontario

A weather system to the south is kicking up a little moisture in parts of southern Ontario.

We do have the risk for some very light drizzle as we head through the afternoon and into the evening, and even the potential for some light freezing drizzle, especially towards Norfolk, Haldeman and east towards Niagara.

“We could see a bit of mixing.... temperatures have come up above freezing and will continue above freezing this afternoon anywhere between one and plus four in southern Ontario,” said CTV News London meteorologist Julie Atchison.

Looking at the 24 hour model, Atchison said it takes us into the evening where we will see a few showers around London.

“Some very light mixing as we head toward those areas I mentioned along that northeastern shoreline of Lake Erie. So the slight risk for some patchy freezing drizzle.”

Friday: Cloudy with 30 per cent chance of showers. High 14.

Saturday: Showers. High 14.
