The Guelph Police Service are investigating after two luxury SUVs were stolen from south-end driveways in back-to-back incidents. The first theft was reported Wednesday morning near Downey Road and Ptarmigan Drive, where a white 2025 Lincoln Navigator was taken overnight. Officers later tracked down and recovered the vehicle at an address in Mississauga using its built-in GPS tracking system. Roughly 24 hours later, a black 2025 Lincoln Navigator was reported stolen from a driveway near Goodwin Drive and Dominion Drive. It is not yet known if the two incidents are connected. Police are reminding vehicle owners to park indoors or in well-lit areas, keep doors locked, use signal-blocking pouches for keyless fobs, and report suspicious overnight activity. “Please report suspicious activity around unattended vehicles, especially during overnight hours,” police said in a media release.
