One vehicle has been stolen, and police believe a thief or thieves tried to take another, from the same neighbourhood in Guelph. A man living on Waterloo Avenue called the Guelph Police Service around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday and told them his 2023 grey Honda Civic Sport had been taken from the parking lot of his apartment building. The vehicle owner said he found broken glass in the area, and believed some of the fragments were from his sunroof. A short time later, another person who lives in a neighbouring building also called police to report an attempted vehicle theft. He said he walked downstairs and found the door handle of his 2024 Acura RDX had been ripped off and the sunroof had been shattered. Anyone with more information is urged to reach out to police.
