A Guelph driver was charged after his pickup truck hit a parked SUV on Wednesday. The crash happened near Metcalfe Street and Kensington Street at 8:45 p.m. “Officers spoke to the driver of the truck and noted signs of impairment,” they said. “He was arrested and transported to the police station, where tests revealed he had more than three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.” The 63-year-old was charged with impaired and careless driving. His licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle seized for seven days.
