A Guelph man faces several charges after a woman reported a sexual assault in a city park. Guelph Police said the victim went there around 8 a.m. Thursday to meet a man she had been communicating with on social media for about a week. The two went to the park to talk, but woman said she was sexually assaulted. The victim was transported to Guelph General Hospital with unspecified injuries. The accused was arrested later that same day. The 21-year-old man was charged with sexual assault causing bodily harm, sexual assault, assault, forcible confinement, and breaching a probation order.
