Guelph Police say a 12-year-old boy is now the third person charged for an assault on another teen. The confrontation started with two youths at a bus shelter near Stone Road Mall on Sept. 28. “Two other people became involved and began assaulting the victim, who was later treated for a broken tooth and broken facial bone,” police said in a media release. An 18-year-old man and 16-year-old boy were charged with assault causing bodily harm. The third suspect, a 12-year-old boy, turned himself in on Friday. Police said he was also charged with assault causing bodily harm.
