At least three schools and the town’s hospital were placed in a “hold and secure” Tuesday after gunshots were heard in Hanover. Neighbours report hearing gunshots around 1 p.m. in the area of 14th Street and 9th Avenue. Police converged on the area and remain on scene, investigating. The hold and secure lasted for about an hour before the schools and hospital returned to normal.
