Woman injured after stepping out of vehicle to speak to another driver in Brant County

The Ontario Provincial Police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck involved in a hit-and-run in Brant County.

Police were told a woman got out of her truck while she was parked at a two-way stop at the corner of Governors Road and Brant-Oxford Road on Tuesday around 11:57 a.m.

She confronted the driver of a blue pickup truck behind her that was hauling a black boat on a black trailer.

Police said the driver of the blue truck drove off, knocking the woman to the ground in the process. One of the tires on the boat trailer ran over the victim, injuring her.

The driver of the blue truck has been described as a woman in her 30s or 40s with long hair.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has footage of the interaction is asked to contact police.
