A 23-year-old woman was arrested after a stabbing at a Brantford bar in January. According to Brantford Police, the incident happened around 2:15 a.m. on Jan. 10 at Brando’s Beach House on Market Street. “[The] investigation determined that a verbal dispute between the victim and the suspect occurred inside the bar, with the assault occurring once they were outside,” Brantford Police said following the incident, adding that the victim had non-life-threatening injuries. At the time, police put out a warning to not to approach a wanted suspect from Ohsweken. Police arrested the 23-year-old Wednesday. She is facing charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
