The Waterloo Regional Police Service are investigating an assault in Kitchener that was hate-motivated. Police say the incident happened Wednesday around noon near Victoria Street North and Weber Street West, where the victim was assaulted by an unknown female. The suspect then uttered racial slurs at the victim before fleeing the area. Investigators say the suspect was described as a white female, around 5’7”, wearing all black with a blue baseball cap. The investigation remains ongoing.
