Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph both earned a spot in Uber’s year-end round up. The rideshare company released its 2026 Uber Nightlife Index last week, highlighting everything from the most popular late-night purchases delivered by Uber Eats drivers to the busiest nights of the year. Kitchener-Waterloo made the company’s top 10 list of “Partying Cities in Canada.” The area came in at number four. Uber also announced the longest trip of year involved a whooping 468 km journey from Sudbury to Guelph. It took four hours and 46 minutes to complete. Some of the most popular deliveries between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. included bathroom tissue, ice cubes, condoms, ibuprofen tablets and allergy medication.
