The Waterloo Regional Police Service have arrested two people after finding a stolen vehicle. The missing vehicle was found Saturday just after 8 p.m. near King Street North and Weber Street North. According to police, two people were found inside the vehicle when officers approached, with the driver refused to surrender and was seen reaching to an item beside the driver’s seat. The driver was then arrested, with police finding a knife inside the vehicle. No injuries were reported from the incident. The vehicle was originally reported stolen in Cambridge on Sept 7. A 36-year-old Cambridge woman was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and a 45-year-old Waterloo man was charged with occupant of a motor vehicle without consent and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
