The Ontario Provincial Police are looking for suspects after several trailers were broken into at a gravel pit in Guelph-Eramosa Township. Officers were called to the pit on Wellington Road 30 on Friday around 7:15 a.m. They were told that someone had broken into trailers overnight and stolen several thousand dollars worth of tools and copper cable. The person, or people, responsible also stole a white GMC pickup and left the site around 4:45 a.m. The suspects may have originally gotten to the area on bicycles. The stolen struck was later found on Wellington Road 51 around 10 a.m. the same day.
