Home sales were sluggish across Waterloo Region in July. The Cornerstone Association of Realtors reported a 12.2 per cent drop in sales month-over-month in July, which also represents a 10 per cent decrease from the year before. The average price of a home also fell 3.8 per cent year-over-year, to settle at $706,240. July’s average sales prices: Compared to Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo Region, the City of Waterloo had the most expensive homes, with an average sales price of $737,043.
