Police seek public’s help to locate man wanted on multiple warrants

Waterloo Regional Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man who is wanted on multiple outstanding warrants.

Police say Wayne Kozma, 47, is currently wanted on seven outstanding warrants, including four Criminal Code warrants and three Provincial Offences Act warrants.

According to police, Kozma’s outstanding charges include three counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of flight from police, two counts of taking a motor vehicle without consent and breach of probation.

Police also said Kozma is before the courts on separate charges of assault causing bodily harm and mischief.

Investigators noted Kozma has been a suspended driver since 2010, but continues to operate vehicles, which police say presents a significant risk to public safety due to his alleged pattern of dangerous driving.
