The Brantford Police Service is trying to identify a person who they believe robbed a gas station at knifepoint. Officers were called to the gas station near Colborne Street West and Oak Street on Monday around 11:45 p.m. They were told a male suspect walked into the store, showed the clerk a knife and then demanded cash. Once he was given a small amount of money, he took off before police arrived. The suspect was described as a white male, 5’8”, with an average build and blond hair. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.
