Police investigate hit-and-run collision near Highway 401 off-ramp

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a hit-and-run collision in North Dumfries Township.

Police said the collision happened on Friday at approximately 7:25 p.m. at the intersection of the Highway 401 eastbound off-ramp and Cedar Creek Road.

A black Hyundai sedan collided with an unknown SUV, which then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash camera footage is asked to contact police at 519-570-9777 ext. 2299.
