A 38-year-old Markham man is facing charges for stealing alcoholic beverages from a business in Centre Wellington Township. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police say officers were called to the business around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday for reports of a theft. When they arrived, the suspect was still in the store and tried to get away. Police arrested the man and charged him with five counts of theft under $5,000. The 38-year-old was released from custody and is expected to appear in a Guelph court in June.
