A man wanted by the Winnipeg Police Service is known to visit Waterloo Region. Police are looking for 29-year-old Farhan Nabil as part of an ongoing extortion and arson investigation involving stores in Winnipeg. Since July 2025, police have already arrested six people they believe are connected to the case. Nabil is wanted for two counts of conspiracy to commit arson and two counts of conspiracy to commit extortion. If anyone spots him in Waterloo Region, they are urged to contact the Waterloo Regional Police Service.
