The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating an e-scooter collision in Kitchener that saw a man taken to hospital with serious injuries. Emergency services responded to reports of the incident Wednesday around 8 p.m. on Homer Watson Boulevard near Pioneer Drive. The e-scooter rider, a 60-year-old Kitchener man, was taken to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries. Roads near the incident were initially closed for investigation and have since reopened. Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of the incident to contact police at 519-570-9777, extension 8856.
